6th Annual CFDR Fun Run/Walk

The Canadian Foundation for Dietetic Research invites you to support the Sixth Annual Fun Run/Walk, a fundraising event which supports dietetic and nutrition research. The event, held at the Dietitians of Canada Conference, aims to promote the balance of regular physical activity along with healthy eating.
The event offers a great opportunity for exercise, fresh air and socializing with colleagues after some busy days in conference sessions. We offer a 5 or 10 km run and a 5 km walk.
There are five ways in which you can support the Fun/Run Walk:
- if you are able to attend the DC conference, register to take part in the event. You can either pay a flat-rat $35 registration fee, or choose to collect pledges from family, friends and colleagues in advance. What a great way to offer others the chance to support nutrition and dietetic research! If you’re not able to go to the DC conference but still want to register for the event, click here for a Registration Form.
- sponsor a friend or colleague who is taking part in the event. Prizes will be presented to the person who signs up the most pledges, and the person who collects the most money.
- make a donation to the Fun Run/Walk. Go to http://www.cfdr.ca/tribute.html and either download our donation form and mail your donation into the office, or click the “Donate Now” button and donate directly on line. Either way, make sure you note that the donation is to be used to support the Fun Run/Walk.
- ask your company to sponsor the event. Opportunities at the bronze, silver and gold levels exist, providing great benefits. For more information, contact Isla Horvath.

8th Annual CFDR Corporate Golf Challenge

The ninth annual CFDR Corporate Golf Challenge promises to be an exciting and enjoyable event. Participants will enjoy a barbecue lunch, a delicious buffet dinner, a fantastic day of golf and a good opportunity for networking. Mark the date on your calendar today!
