New Researcher Competition

The Canadian Foundation for Dietetic Research offers a special grants program for New Researchers. This program was created to encourage new dietitians just entering the profession to include research in their work.

Criteria for this program:

Only those who received their registered dietitian designation within the last five years will be considered for this grant program. You must have received your RD after December 31, 2005. This program is open only to those who have never been a principal investigator on a previous funded research project.

All other criteria for applying for a grant from CFDR apply; please see the eligibility criteria on our grant guidelines documents posted under Regular Research Grant Competition.
