Janis Randall Simpson (PhD, RD, FDC, FCNS) has assumed the role of Executive Director (ED) (volunteer, part-time) of CFDR as of 1 October 2024. I am looking forward to working closely with the CFDR Board of Directors as we head into the 2024-25 Research Grant competition. Some Secretariat Services for CFDR are provided by DC and I extend special thanks to all staff who are actively involved in supporting the functions of CFDR. CFDR is dependent on volunteers for its Board and review committees and my thanks are extended to all Board and committee members, both past and present.
