Anisha Mahajan, PhD, RD, CDE

Anisha Mahajan (she/her) is an Assistant Professor and Registered Dietitian in the College of Pharmacy and Nutrition at University of Saskatchewan in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. Anisha has worked as a Registered Dietitian for over 15 years in healthcare in Ontario. She has completed her Postdoctoral research work at Ontario Tech University and University of Guelph; obtained her PhD in Human Health and Nutritional Sciences at the University of Guelph; Master of Public Health (MPH) in Nutrition and Dietetics from the Dalla Lana School of Public Health at the University of Toronto; dietetic internship from ARAMARK Canada and undergraduate degree (BASc) in Nutrition and Food from Toronto Metropolitan University (former Ryerson University). Anisha’s research interests include community-based lifestyle intervention programs in early life; investigating sugar, sodium and non-nutritive sweetener intake in young children in Canada; and examining racial diversity in the dietetics workforce in Canada.
